Conflict Resolution in FATA
Following steps need to be taken by the goverment:
The Presidency must engage tribal elders through political offices asking the political agents in tribal agencies to include those in talks who have a sizeable number in the tribes following them.
Cash in flow through conventional means in the tribal agencies need to be monitored. Provincial governemnt needs to be asked to develop mechanism to keep a check on foreighn currencies floating in the area.
Cleric and their living need to be closely gaurded with particular reference to their sources of income and their personal relations / linkages.
All kind of cash coming in from Saudi Arabia and the USA needs to be monitered for its end users.
These are recommendations of this bloger and I strongly disagree what stereo type solutions are recommended in December 2013 issue of Current Affairs digest. But I recomend readers to read it at once to get better understanding of FATA issues.
