Yes Taliban have apparently accepted the responsibility for attack but unfortunately in this country scoundrals have always used religion to fan public sentiments and justify their criminal actions. Even Pakistan's former President Ziaul Haq had done the same in connivance to the US to achieve the American objectives in the region.
Ms Jolie has found it convenient to blame adult men of the area for the attack but adult men of United States are manning the Predators killing hundreds of innocent citizens in Pakistan's tribal region.
When you are an actor, you are paid for pretending what you are actually not. And Agilina Jolie is one of the established actress of our ties. Going by the status given to Angelina Jolie by virtue of her being ambassador of United Nations, it was her acceptance by the audiences. Given the responsibilities by the UN because of her celibrity status demands understanding of the basic issues you are expected to confront. Unfortunately Ms Jolie has not been able to fulfill her responsibilities as shee lacked the understandding of basic issues of Women Education in Pakistan. She chose to educate her own children on Pakistan in a wayward manner. People in Pakistan know that the locality where Malala yusufzai was being brought up has the highest literacy rate inside Pakistan as compared to some of the villages in central Punjab - Pakistan's most developed province.
Some facts need to be corrected.
The school Malala had been studying was never closed by the Taliban. It remained open even at the moment when Pakistan Governement was forcing closure of schools under American pressure to launch a witch-hunt in areas adjoining to Mingora, Malala's home town. Her father has worked closely to Pakistan Army that arranged media exposure to the young child to show off that the US Dollars given to the country are being spent in the right manner. Unfortunately, Pakistan's rulers are corrupt and they continue to find means and ways to amass mega bucks at the cost of its citizens.
People of the area do not like Malala because they think she was an instrument to the killing of innocent citizens for which the Pakistan Government is taking cash from the West. They had been witness to the changing fortunes of the father of the young girl who had baited her daughter to the misfortune of the Girls of the area. What about the other girls of the same school? Why of the three girls injured, Air ambulance and the best medical service were provided only to Malala and not to the her injured school fellows?
Answers to the woes of Pakistan's citizens is very simple.Please stop sending dollars to Pakistan for the education - to the government, or to the Non Governmental Organizations. We ask international community to pressurize Pakistan's Provincial Governments to spend more on education from Pakistan's money in the existing infrastructure. The answer lies in capacity building of the existing departments.
